The Marine Trades Association would like to provide you all important information when visiting our lovely island by sea.

Welcome to the magical island of St Maarten / Saint Martin. This unique island divided by two nations offers a wide variety services and activities.

St. Maarten is hands down the best place in the Caribbean to berth, provision, repair and explore. With over
16 major marinas catering to vessels ranging from small water craft to large super yachts, there is a selection to fit every size and every budget. Each Marina provides a unique atmosphere with professional personnel to satisfy your personal taste.

Clearing
In & Out

All vessels arriving and departing from St. Maarten waters must clear in & out with the Immigration Department. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic there is a mandatory health authorization form that must be filled and processed prior to arrival.

Services

The amount of service centers and shops that is available to the yachting industry together with the duty free status of the island makes it one of the best island in the Caribbean to prepare the yacht for visiting guest and owners.

The Island’s Duty Free status acts as the heart of the maritime business in the Caribbean. ST MAARTEN TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

If you are arriving on the island of Sint Maarten, via a vessel,  you will need to Clear In. 

Complete immigration and customs formalities:
Upon arrival, you will need to complete immigration and customs formalities. This includes presenting your passport or other travel documents, declaring any goods you are bringing into the country, and paying any applicable fees.
