If you’re looking for something more low-key head to one of the many bars with great happy hour prices or step into one of the stylish piano bars for an evening of fun and great entertainment or dance the night away at the various nightclubs such as Moonbar Mikanos and Soggy Dollar Bar.

The boardwalk in Philipsburg has become a hot spot with live music on Fridays. Sip on a Piña Colada while watching the sunset in the ocean at one of the restaurants along this popular beach boulevard. Open-air night clubs and trendy lounge bars in a VIP setting can also be found here on the Friendly Island. Or go Plane Spotting at the Sunset Beach Bar.

Although a few bars and restaurants begin to wind down between 11:00 pm and midnight, many of the clubs are just getting going while the adult entertainment clubs guarantee a party until the sun comes up. Crews can unwind at the different crew bars. The infamous Soggy Dollar Bar borders on crazy with its wild and live entertainment voted number one crew bar in the World, by Dockwalk Magazine.

Casinos offer a different sort of entertainment. There are over 10 casinos to choose from on the Dutch side alone. But whatever your choice,St. Maarten has it: Fun, Glamour and Magic!

St Maarten/Saint Martin is known for its vibrant party scene, and there are several weekly events and parties that take place on the island. Here are some popular ones:

Monday Night: Red Piano has a great vibe on Mondays with live band music and DJ.

Tuesday Night: Latin Night at Soggy Dollar Bar with Salsa classes from 7pm and Latin Party with Latin Sugar Band and DJ Music from 9pm.

Wednesday Night: Great cocktails and live music at No Where Special & Soggy Dollar Bar and Ladies Night at Lotus nightclub in Simpson Bay.

Thursday Night: Salsa Night at La Bodega in Simpson Bay, where you can enjoy Latin music and dance.

Friday Night: Live Music and Happy Hour at Pineapple Pete in Simpson Bay, featuring local bands and drink specials.
