The Sint Maarten Yacht Club is the epicenter of the island’s sailing and maritime community. Located right next to the Simpson Bay Bridge, it operates a highly active youth and adult sailing school, promoting watersports and marine education. Beyond the sailing school, the SMYC is world-famous as the organizing body for the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta. The clubhouse also features a very popular bar and restaurant, offering the best vantage point on the island for watching mega yachts squeeze through the bridge.
